This is a great gym. Reminds me in a way of a newer Harbor Fitness — serious equipment, ample space, and clean. Staff is cool. Feels like a good community can develop here. Dumbbells go up to 150 lbs. They have the best belt squat rig I've ever seen. Seriously, this place has great equipment, and it's huge. Full-length turf strip with multiple sleds. Plenty of cardio stuff too, if that's your jam. Thankfully, there are so far few wannabe influencers crowding the space, filming their warmup-weight work sets in their underwear. Hope it stays that way! Can't beat this place, either for the price or the location. Best gym in the area by far!

Amazing gym, amazing value. Not the biggest gym in the world by size, but has the best weight selection across the several gyms I’ve been to in NY, and never feels crowded. Everyone is super friendly too. I’ve yet to use the sauna but that’s a nice perk. Definitely glad I made the switch after 8 years at my past gym brand!

Such a perfect addition to the neighborhood. Machines are always clean and available. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Locker room and sauna are the cherry on top, I recommend this gym to anyone in the area. The gym is also attached to a cafe/ juice bar so it really Is a one stop shop for me.

I was looking for a clean, updated and not packed gym in the area-- this one was the perfect match. All the equipment is new/up to date and the staff incredibly helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Great gym with excellent trainers, well-maintained equipment, and a positive atmosphere. The workouts are effective, and the staff is always professional and encouraging. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quality fitness experience.

This is a great gym. This gym has brand new equipment that’s in better condition and quality than Brooklyn Heights Equinox. There’s plenty of space, so no waiting around even at busy times. The clientele is focused on working out, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming without being overcrowded. A great spot for a serious workout in Brooklyn. Great value for serious gym goers in the area.

GYM NYC is hands down one of the best gyms in the area. It’s super clean, family-owned, and The staff & trainers are genuinely nice, welcoming, and always willing to help. dumbbells go up to 150 lbs and having 5 squat racks means you never feel rushed or stuck waiting around for someone benching on the squat rack lol.. overall i cant recommend another gym if you're a beginner/ advanced lifter.

Best Gym in Brooklyn if your priority is the equipment, cleaness and ease of use. Never to crowded, stuff is stellar and the quality of the equipment is just 5 stars (most is hammer strength). I couldn't recommend it more (check my reviews, I have been in dozens of gyms)

Awesome gym. Cancelled my Equinox gym membership after using a day pass at this gym. In comparison to Eqx Brooklyn Heights, the gym is much cleaner, is newer, has better equipment (lifefitness, rogue, hammerstrength, etc), and has nicer, more accommodating staff. I rarely have to wait for a machine or free weights. More plates have been ordered to fill the gap in a lack of 25-45lb weights. Locker room is really clean, lockers don’t require you to bring your own lock, has a legit sauna, and the showers are super nice. The build out is a bit strange (half of the place is like a hotel gym), but it’s easy to get over that, considering the great amenities. Highly recommend.
